Do I need to buy special AI cameras?
No. CamSec AI is a hardware-agnostic solution. It connects wirelessly or via LAN to your existing IP/RTSP CCTV cameras. We transform your standard surveillance setup into an intelligent network without the need for expensive proprietary hardware.
What hardware is required to run the software?
You only need a standard Laptop or Desktop to act as the local server. A minimum specification of an Intel i3 10th Generation processor (or equivalent) is required to run the AI processing smoothly for up to 2 cameras.
Is the data secure and private?
Absolutely. CamSec AI is fully compliant with DPDPA 2023 standards. All facial data and attendance records are end-to-end encrypted. We prioritize user privacy and ensure that sensitive visual data is processed securely within your local network before encrypted syncing.
Can it really detect strangers instantly?
Yes. The system maintains a database of registered users (students/staff). When a face is detected that doesn't match any record in the database, it is instantly flagged as an "Intruder" or "Unknown," and a real-time alert is sent to the warden's dashboard.
Does the system work at night or in low light?
Our AI is trained to recognize faces from 5 different angles and in varying lighting conditions. However, for optimal performance at night, we recommend ensuring your cameras have IR (Infrared) night vision capabilities or adequate ambient lighting at entry points.

Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CamSec AI, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the software.

2. License & Device Usage

  • CamSec AI is licensed on a one device, one user basis.
  • Each organization is permitted to connect a maximum of two (2) cameras per licensed device.
  • The license is non-transferable and may not be shared across multiple devices or users without explicit authorization.

3. Free Trial & Subscription

  • CamSec AI provides a 2-hour free trial for evaluation purposes.
  • After the trial period expires, continued usage requires an active paid subscription.
  • Features may be limited or disabled if the subscription is inactive or expired.

4. Data Privacy & Facial Data Handling

  • CamSec AI does NOT store facial images or biometric data on our servers.
  • All face recognition and image processing occur locally on the customer's device.
  • CamSec AI only processes essential metadata required for system functionality.
  • We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), 2023, and applicable data protection regulations.

5. Data Ownership, Encryption & Backups

  • All data generated by CamSec AI is owned by the customer and stored locally on the customer's system.
  • Data is protected using strong encryption mechanisms.
  • If data is deleted by the customer, CamSec AI cannot restore image data.
  • Upon request, we may provide the encryption key, but image or facial data recovery is not possible.
  • Customers are strongly advised to take regular daily backups. The local database already supports backup mechanisms.

6. User Responsibilities

Users are solely responsible for:

  • Lawful use of cameras and surveillance systems
  • Obtaining required consents and permissions under applicable local, state, and national laws
  • Ensuring compliance with privacy and surveillance regulations

CamSec AI shall not be used for unlawful monitoring or unauthorized data collection.

7. Limitation of Liability

CamSec AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or system misuse. Use of the software is entirely at the user's own risk.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of CamSec AI after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if the software is used in violation of these Terms & Conditions or applicable laws.

10. Software Accuracy & Limitations

CamSec AI is designed to deliver high-accuracy recognition performance, with accuracy levels of up to 99% under optimal conditions.

However, users acknowledge and agree that:

  • Accuracy may vary based on camera quality, lighting conditions, camera angle, image clarity, and environmental factors.
  • The software may occasionally misclassify, fail to recognize, or incorrectly identify individuals.
  • CamSec AI is intended to assist operational processes such as attendance and access logging and should not be used as the sole basis for critical decisions.

CamSec AI does not guarantee 100% accuracy and shall not be held liable for actions, decisions, or outcomes based solely on system-generated results.

11. System Integrators, Dealers & Resellers

  • CamSec AI is provided exclusively as a direct-to-customer software product.
  • CamSec AI does not appoint, authorize, or engage any system integrators (SI), dealers, distributors, resellers, or third-party agents for sales, deployment, licensing, or support.
  • Resale, redistribution, white-labeling, bundling, or offering CamSec AI as part of managed or hosted services is strictly prohibited.
  • Any representation, pricing, commitments, or warranties made by unauthorized third parties are not binding on CamSec AI.
  • System integrator and dealer partnerships, if any, will apply only to CamSec AI Pro and will be governed by separate agreements and updated terms upon its official launch.

Platform Policies

1. Data Privacy Policy

CamSec AI is built on privacy-first principles.

  • Facial recognition and attendance processing are performed locally on the customer's device.
  • CamSec AI does not permanently store facial images or biometric data on CamSecAI servers.
  • Raw facial images are stored only on the customer's local system, and only if explicitly enabled by the organization.
  • CamSecAI does not access, collect, or retain customer facial data remotely.

All data handling complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), 2023, and applicable privacy regulations.

2. CCTV & Surveillance Policy

CamSec AI operates only with CCTV systems legally installed and owned by the deploying organization.

Users are solely responsible for:

  • Informing individuals about surveillance
  • Displaying required notices
  • Obtaining consent where mandated by applicable laws

CamSec AI must not be used for unlawful surveillance, unauthorized monitoring, or covert data collection.

3. Attendance & Recognition Policy

Facial recognition is used strictly for identification, attendance tracking, and access logging.

CamSec AI does NOT perform:

  • Emotion detection
  • Behavioral analysis
  • Profiling
  • Predictive analytics
  • Biometric scoring beyond identification

The system is designed only for operational and administrative use.

4. Internet & Cloud Usage Policy

An active internet connection is required for:

  • Device validation
  • Synchronization
  • Notifications
  • Reports and dashboards

Core attendance and recognition functions continue to operate locally.

Offline or intranet-only deployments are supported through CamSecAI Pro, subject to separate licensing terms.

5. Data Ownership, Encryption & Backup Policy

All operational data generated by CamSec AI is owned entirely by the customer.

Data stored locally is protected using strong encryption.

If a customer deletes local data:

  • CamSecAI cannot restore facial images or attendance records
  • Upon request, we may provide the encryption key, but not the deleted image data

Customers are strongly encouraged to:

  • Maintain daily backups
  • Use the local database backup mechanisms provided with the software

6. Security Policy

All communication between devices, servers, and mobile applications is encrypted.

The platform enforces:

  • Role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Secure authentication
  • Audit logging for system activities

Security controls are designed to prevent unauthorized access, misuse, and data tampering.

7. Device, User & Camera Usage Policy

  • CamSec AI follows a one device, one user licensing model.
  • Each organization may connect up to two (2) cameras per licensed device.
